Tuition develops listening, speaking, reading and writing skills on a social, business or academic level. Devotion to excellence and quality ensures that our students leave us feeling confident and competent.

A computer laboratory equipped with interactive CD-ROM software is available to students as an additional language resource. Access to the Internet is free to all students registered at the Centre.

New students will be placed into one of 6 different programmes:   Entry, Elementary, Pre-Intermediate, Upper-Intermediate and Advanced Level. Students are required to complete a PROFICIENCY EVALUATION. The outcome of this evaluation ensures that a student is placed into the appropriate programme/level. Evaluation is continuous and students are promoted to the next level as soon as they qualify. Students are required to attend a minimum of 80 hours of tuition before a PROGRESS REPORT and CERTIFICATE are issued.

All English language resources and study materials are provided by the Centre.
The Centre publishes much of its own material, but also boasts a vast selection of popular EFL course material.

The Centre also runs preparation courses for TOEFL, IELTS and CAMBRIDGE EXAMINATIONS. Students are also assisted with registering for these examinations.

Throughout the year several outings are arranged. Students will visit various places of interest in South Africa, providing valuable insight into our history and culture.
