We opened our doors to ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) learners in January 1997 and since then we have become one of the largest ESOL centres in South Africa. Our learners benefit from a supportive one-on-one relationship with their tutors. Our classes develop listening, speaking, reading and writing skills on a social, business or academic level. Devotion to excellence and quality ensures that our learners leave us feeling confident and competent.

Our ESOL programme consists of 6 different levels: Starters to Advanced. Learners have the option of taking an internationally accredited ESOL examination. Success in this examination will entitle the learner to an IESOL Diploma, through City and Guilds, of London.
More recently, we have also started training English teachers. We offer a 6-week, intensive, TEFL(Teaching English as a Foreign Language) qualification. This is also a City and Guilds qualification and therefore, internationally recognised.
We publish our own course material – keeping course material relevant and affordable! The Centre also runs preparation courses for TOEFL, IELTS and the Cambridge Examinations.

  • ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages)
    Starters to Advanced (6 levels)
    + 8 weeks per level

  • ACE (Access Certificate in English Language Teaching)
    This is a TEFL qualification. If you’re fed up with your current job, why not explore the world and earn an income.

  • EBC (English for Business Communications)
    This qualification is useful to candidates who will be entering university in South Africa in the field of business studies (e.g. Business Administration, Business Management, Human Resources, Marketing etc.)

  • National Certificate in Business Administration Services
    SAQA ID 23833
    This programme is registered on the National Qualifications Framework. It is aimed at giving school-leavers the skills needed to enter the corporate environment with confidence.

  • National Certificate in Contact Centre Support
    SAQA ID 21793
    This programme is registered on the National Qualifications Framework and is aimed at employees who will be working with clients directly (e.g. call centre agents/managers, reception staff, sales representatives/directors/managers, client services clerks, etc.)
