(English for speakers of Other Languages)
WHAT?
A general English programme offered at 6 levels of proficiency: Beginners to Advanced.
It develops writing, speaking, reading and listening in English to enable non-English speaking students to work or study in English-speaking countries and or English work environment.
FOR WHO?
The International ESOL qualifications are for anyone who is a non-English speaker and would like to develop their English language skills.
Many English-speaking universities accept this qualification as evidence of language proficiency for entry to their courses.

Mornings: 08h00 – 12h30, Mondays to Fridays

(Business Administration Services) NQF Level 2
WHAT?
A SAQA aligned, business administration qualification which consists of the following learning units:
-Team Dynamics and personal development
-Customer Service Essentials
-PC Skills
-Business Communication
-Basic Business Administration
-The Office Environment
-Basic Numeracy
-Financial Numeracy
FOR WHO?
This qualification is for candidates who need an entry level qualification in order to function as part of a team within the administrative sector of a corporate environment.
This qualification will give candidates specialist knowledge in the areas of Reception, Executive Administration, Financial Services and Banking. All the skills needed to make a meaningful contribution to the office environment.
The qualification also makes provision for the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). This implies that the individual who has been working in an office environment and has acquired specific skills, but has no qualification, can apply for RPL. By way of a 4 to 5 day workshop, we can determine if in fact these skills are in place and award the candidate a SAQA-aligned, SETA-accredited qualification in Business Administration.
WHAT CAN I DO AFTER THIS QUALIFICATION?
The National Certificate in Business Administration Services at NQF Level 2 is the first qualification in a learning pathway that starts at NQF Level 2 and ends with the National Certificate in Office Administration NQF Level 5.
Admission requirements:
Communication at NQF 1
Mathematical Literacy at NQF 1
or
Grade 9 GET certificate
If no proof can be provided of the above, the candidate will need to take the Admissions Test – a pre-course worksheet to determine communication and math literacy competence.
WHAT?
A workshop which prepares candidates for the IELTS, TOEFL or the university’s admissions test.
FOR WHO?
Candidates who need to present an IELTS or TOEFL score to an English-speaking university or college. Candidates who need to present an IELTS or TOEFL score to a potential employer.
WHEN?
Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays: 14h00 – 16h00
You can join the programme on any particular Monday of the year. This programme will only run with 5 or more registrations.
